RACHANA SANSAD

Rachana Sansad the trust was founded by three young architects in 1960 and Rachana Sansad registered under the Society's Registration Act of 1860 and Public Trust Act of 1950.

Its Registered Office is situated at 278, Shankar Ghanekar Marg, Prabhadevi, Mumbai 400 025. It's central location is easily accessible by trains and buses from all parts of the City of Mumbai.

This institution, which has marched through, may difficulties, hurdle and challenges, has surpassed them, and attained a special place for itself on the education map of the country.

The Sansad started Academy of Architecture' which was the brainchild of three enterprising architects, SHRI C.K.GUMASTE SHRI S.H.WANDREKAR and Late SHRI VG.MHATRF who have benefits guiding sprits for the last 47 years. By dint of their hard work and dedication they have guided the institution to the niche it occupies today as one of the most prominent schools of Architecture in the country.

Academy journey started from one classroom in G.E. Institutes girl's high school, to its present location at Prabhadevi.

Today Rachana Sansad has diversified into other allied fields of education. It now conducts courses in interior designing, textile designing, and building management and has started university degree courses in architectural, applied arts, interior designing and postgraduate course in architecture, landscape design and environments design.

Form the modest beginning Sansad has come to this form and it plans to go further to conduct Seminars under the title of Life Long Learning programs.
